National Crayon Day
Invited by cousins in 1903, the colorful instruments became known as “crayons”. They revolutionized arts education.
Lessons from the crayon box:
Bold colors make a statement;
Creativity gives you an edge;
Coloring outside the lines exudes leadership.
So proud of my friend Parker Wonser … a pirates journey and his life story via 100 parables!
Parker is a fascinating young man and someone I had the pleasure of getting to know a few years ago. Follow his journey on a “pirate ship” via his social media.
Today is National Employee Appreciation Day… how are you appreciating your employees today?
Ideas:
Lunch out
Gift card
Extra vacation day
Heartfelt letter
Dr Alveda King has become a dear friend. Every time she shares about the assasinations of her father and uncle Dr Martin Luther King, I’m reminded of the cost of hate.
Alveda’s testimony ichallenges us to remember that Christ’s love should be our central focus.
Great to visit with @FAUpresident Adam Hasner today. He is leading an amazing school!
Unbeknownst to me, FAU has an incredible sports museum.
Adam coined the term “hometown university”. FAU is no longer a sleepy little school. Go Owls!
A touch down of a morning for the YMCA of the Palm Beaches with NFL champ Joe Theismann.
The Y is embarking on an amazing campaign to provide expansive services to the community.
Thrilled to see their prayer breakfast met with such applause.
Great evening for @jmcdavid15 charity raising funds for children of fallen law enforcement.
Thank you @LaraLeaTrump@EricTrump for your support.
Great to see @ToddPiro who is always front and center helping others.
When I was first diagnosed with diabetes, I had no clue how to test my sugar, etc. I phoned Michelle McGann for guidance. She told me to come to the house and she would teach me. My first reading was 347.
Today, my A1C is in “pre-diabetic” range.
Thrilled to see @etiquetteexpert Jacqueline Whitmore sharing etiquette tips on Fox News @IngrahamAngle.
Jackie has been a dear friend for many years and ever so helpful when I first started my business. Her etiquette book for executives is terrific.
