Will make my last U20 season big, I promise 👍🏽

Set backs will just make the success that much sweeter 🦅 @KingsGuernsey @RavenscroftGB

[Ben Stevens @benstevensgsy]

With no full training block since winter, dropping my PB by 0.36 in the 100m and 0.53 in the 200m, in hindsight, I am happy 🤫

[Ben Stevens @benstevensgsy]

2021 season was relatively nice x 🦍

- Running 5 races and with 4 of those being personal bests.
- Lack of training + competition due to injury.
- People at the track my season harder than it should be.
- 11.58 / 23.48 + 400m pending.

I said I wanted to take one!!!!
The gaffer has made so many right decisions through this tournament and he did tonight! But I won’t have people say that I didn’t want to take a peno when I said I will…

Last year, Olympic silver medallist and world decathlon champion Kevin Mayer challenged Kylian Mbappé to a 100m race.

Mbappé has just accepted the challenge.

🥇 took the win at the #GatesheadDL!!

So happy to have put together a technically good race despite the North East throwing everything it had at us 🤣 running into a -3.1 headwind is no joke!

Thank you for all the support... way to kick-start the season ❤ #FreeShowerAnyone

[Ben Stevens @benstevensgsy]

@DaleGarland2 stupidly fast split, are you sure you had ran 300m before that closing 100? 😐😅

.@CamChalmers400 @GsyAla @Peter_Curtis24 @SamWallbridge are aiming to eclipse a record that’s stood since 2009 when they take on @EnglandAthletic @scotathletics @WelshAthletics @BritAthletics U20 and @LboroAthletics tomorrow. Here’s how that record was set

Very pleased to open the season up on Sunday with a personal best of 11.71 in my “unfavorable event”.
