@elonmusk If you really wanted to ratfuck members who voted yes, could support a primary opponent against them AND a 3rd party in the general. They might just retire/give up rather than try. Plus w/ their unpopularity after this vote, probably more like 6 Senate & 25 House seats in play.
Again, the #1 issue that got Trump elected the first time was the *potential* for an email server to be detrimental to our national security. Good times. Great media coverage!
I think what’s happening here is that there are three branches of the federal government, not one, and the guy speaking works in a different branch of that government than Donald Trump works in. Hope this helps.
With the caveat that there are still ~200,000 votes left to count, Donald Trump is currently 17,071 votes behind his 2020 vote total in California and has received more votes in 22 counties vs their 2020 total.
Kamala Harris is 1,926,008 votes behind Joe Biden's total in 2020 and is running ahead of his raw vote total in one county (Alpine, by 2 votes).
Interesting. CA is a microcosm of national pattern where Trump held or slightly increased raw numbers while Harris lost votes everywhere except battlegrounds. I'm still hearing arguments of whether it was mostly Dem voters flipping vs staying home. Unconvinced either way so far.
