@RealBobTheDog@BradleyIngram24 If 2022's did not feel like they could compete or odds against older kids was unfavorable for them, they could have taken a gap year and started 1 year later. Hell, doing so would have placed them in the 5 for 5 era. Bet these same folks would have different opinions.
@Thanedub Has to be a cutoff. 2022 entered under pre 5 for 5. Get over it. If you exhausted your 4 years and have a degree, what more do you wan? It's all about timing.
@Angie21925514@keenanlandry0 Ok so what has changed? Todays athletes are facing the same challenge with less roster spots as limits have been placed since 2022. College athletics are about competing at the highest level your skill set allows regardless of age as long as the rules are followed.
@NCAA_PR NCAA is playing chess. The word membership carries a lot of weight. Why? The members are the Universities which are governed by the NCAA. Are we not sure that at some point the NCAA does not just say, these are the rules blame your University for being a member?
@AaronGogley The NCAA just cannot get out of it's own way. You had a win by granting eligibility to 2022's and all you had to do was shut up. The decision to grant a roster spot would be each individual University's decision.
@RGIII I agree. However, I believe in separation of Church and State. Furthermore, if this about 18 year olds competing against adults. Are we saying to look the other way or ignore the rules if the athletes are Mormon.
I decided to compile a preseason statewide top 25. Wound up ranking 26 teams and writing about a dozen others.
(This — the top 25 — may be a regular thing this spring)
