Most of which aren't special enough to not be understood via second hand experiences. I can watch Spyro and like the gameplay (I played it after watching and felt the exact same way because I can see what I like.)

Also, experience is subjective as well, we as humans all the time say we experienced something we haven't directly experienced; Movies, sports, events, foods, culture, etc

There are games that have incredible stories that have gameplay loops people dont enjoy, like Rule of Rose for example. Beautiful game with really terrible gameplay design choices.
