@Paijaan28@piusmusabi1@UTDKarra Deep down we all know the game would’ve been much more fluid had there not been a 41 year old in attack and an entirely incompetent coach
@GItotbe@I_amMukhtar Once again, nowhere have I defended Russia. My question to you is the same: are you arguing the same against all or nothing? Because if we look back at your first statement it seems you were defending the US but when it comes to Russia and Qatar you would much rather send links.
@GItotbe@I_amMukhtar Then why exactly are you repeatedly mentioning Qatar’s modern slavery yet totally overlooking the US’s actions. It goes back to my point which you simply are not understanding: where’s the same energy?
@GItotbe@I_amMukhtar Nowhere have I defended Russia. I’m simply brining financial figures to the table. I admit Russia as a host nation was also questionable but no way is the USA as a host ANY LESS questionable
@GItotbe@I_amMukhtar Ok so it seems you just want to recycle the same arguments and actually contradict your own claims. The double standards are present clear as day. The only way I buy your argument is if you treated Qatar as ‘foreign land’ too which I highly doubt.
@GItotbe@I_amMukhtar According to The Moscow Times, Russia’s economy received roughly $15 billion from the 2018 World Cup. Just one of countless examples. I won’t deny that FIFA certainly gets a much larger part of the pie, but that’s nothing new and is a different debate entirely for another day.
@GItotbe@I_amMukhtar Ah, I see how it is. Let’s blindfold ourselves from all of the US’s history (countless violations of basic humanitarian norms) and pretend all they are doing is ‘taking their own security seriously’.
@GItotbe@I_amMukhtar The socioeconomic benefit which host a World Cup brings to a developing nation is incredibly immense. If it promotes jobs and improves the overall standard of living in a poor country then so be it 🤷🏻♂️
@GItotbe@I_amMukhtar If you think it’s the same then you’re unfortunately delusional. The mainstream media isn’t complaining about the US like they did with Qatar. Please enlighten me if you’ve seen any major news outlet stand against the US’s approach this tournament and question their hospitality.
@GItotbe@I_amMukhtar Got on? Accepted it?
That’s funny mate, the whole tournament was full of the media complaining about Qatar’s no drinking policies and also banning public displays of affection. Now when it’s the US’s turn you puppets just want to claim that it’s ‘foreign land’. Double Standards
@Dv_sol1@jeff070@FrankEra_ Cavani literally broke the number 7 curse and then even changed shirt numbers in respect of Ronaldo😂. I think he’s referring to an ‘attacker’ but vaguely stated ‘striker’. Most likely Greenwood, 20/21 was his first FULL season at the club and then 21/22 Ronaldo joined
