Ecstatic that my next #research#paper (a big review) is #ACCEPTED for #publication! The content's been part of my life for 14+ years, & the culmination of huge efforts by many inspirational ecologists & #restoration practitioners for much longer. I can't wait to share it! 🤩🥳🤗
I recently attended a fantastic workshop run by @NERC_EOF in Sheffield. The workshop was Metabarcoding for diet analysis and environmental DNA. This comprised of four days combining lab work and bioinformatics. Great materials and instructors.
@RSFS1854@GavinOutdoors@RSFS1854 I sent you an email regarding my membership, first on 17/06/24 and again on 20/06/24. I paid for my membership on 20/05/24 and I've had no correspondence. Can you get in touch with me please?
Speaker 3/4 of session one is Neil McDonald from @StirUni speaking on “Why Glaciomarine Sediments of the Last British-Irish Ice Sheet (BIIS) are Laminated” 🧊💧
Could this be your new office?
We are delighted to announce that we are looking for a WILD HEART ECOLOGIST (part time 22.5 hrs per week)!

Observing a few moths. Documented almost 600 species over 4 nights, excluding other invertebrates that I spent time with.
Meshed jacket was to prevent the moths from getting into my eyes, nose and ears.
I'm happy to share that our paper has been published in Forest Ecology and Management, @IUFRO 10th Wind and Trees Conference special edition.

A huge thanks to all authors involved @GaultonRachel@quine_chris@andysuggitt Roy Sanderson and @ActionOak!
I recently visited @ForestryEngland Dodd Wood and Whinlatter Forest in the Lake District as part of a Continuous Cover Forestry Group field trip hosted by @garethbrowning. The key objectives for these forests were to ensure wind stable forests for the future.
