@NY_Comic_Con I just wanted to give you guys a couple of shout-outs—first, for getting me in and out of the sale within the first 10 mins and getting what I wanted; second, to the "NYCCInfo" CS team (Bliss) for helping me out with a Pro pass situation. Thanks, as always!

Was it too late in the process for @MarvelStudios to put in a title card dedication for Gerry Conway in "The Punisher: One Last Kill"? Yes, he received a creator credit but he also passed away. There should've been some acknowledgement of that.
@SubcommanderT Oh, man! Spock being Uhura's mentor would've been an awesome story opportunity! Of course, he would take on that mantle in the movies but would've been interesting to see in TOS. BTW, that book is great—an unofficial companion to his "Compendium."
@MidtownComics Every year, it's a pain-free experience! Thank you to everyone! And the one time of year when I walk away with comics without giving you guys my birthday 😅 (FYI, I was number 19 in the line).
Here’s something slightly different I’ve been meaning to try for ages - a remaster of the original 1962 pinhole-camera gun barrel photo from the #JamesBond opening titles. I’ve never seen a full-frame of the actual photo (does it even still exist?) and the Connery version is the only one with all the lovely detail intact. Even by Roger’s debut (pic 2) it looks like a dreadful blown-out photocopy-of-a-photocopy.
So this is my attempt, made by stacking 4K grabs from Dr No, with extensive cleaning and tarting-up and recolouring of the bits we only see when the barrel jerks around once the blood has drenched the image. If you’re on a mobile please ‘Load in 4K’ for the full effect.
Maybe someone might find this useful? If nothing else it’s quite a pretty thing to gaze at for a while!
Leave it to #AllStarTrek to show "Errand of Mercy" during its TOS segment and then show "Blood Oath" during the DS9 segment just two hours later. Absolutely beautiful! And it also has a really great scene between Dax and Kira.
@ThatChrisGore all of a sudden, they're now experts in mergers & acquisitions? and where were they when disney bought 20th century fox? or when amazon acquired MGM?
"But they found it's a trap. Like a narcotic. Because when dreams become more important than reality, you give up travel, building, creating. You even forget how to repair the machines left behind by your ancestors.
