@EpicLPer Hi there. We are not involved in the decisions and actions HiFiBerry take to run their social media accounts, so I am unable to help you with this matter. // Tuomas from B&O
@EpicLPer It's highly likely. The most tangible advantage of AirPlay 2 for most users is the ability to stream to multiple speakers from iOS and iPadOS, which is why we tend to highlight it as a use case. // Tuomas from B&O
@EpicLPer ...which can result in different amounts of delay between when you initiate/change playback and when that action is heard on speakers, but it is the same between different speakers, so any multiroom experiences should always remain in sync. // Tuomas from B&O
@EpicLPer Both AirPlay 1 & 2 are available, but 2 is used if the source device supports it. This is standard behaviour. How the audio pipeline is implemented differs from app to app (e.g. you will have different experiences with AirPlay between Apple Music and Spotify)...
@EpicLPer We’re glad to hear you’re liking it! The OS was built especially for Beocreate 4-Channel Amplifier, but we ❤️ hacks that make it useful with other things as well. Hit us up if you have questions. // Tuomas from B&O
@GvanWinssen Hi Gerard, thanks for your interest in a remastered Beosound 5! We’ve experimented with this and it’s definitely in the realm of possibility, however, there are currently no plans in place. We’ll let let you know if/when that changes! // Tuomas/B&O
@Tuffyrocks Hi there, sorry to hear you're having issues. I assume this is Bluetooth we're talking about? Have you recently changed something in your setup (as in, software updates or anything like that)? There should not be a need for a PIN to connect. // Tuomas/B&O
@FalconFour Wow, thank you so much for the kind words, it means the world to us! We will take your feature request under consideration. Have a great weekend! // Tuomas/B&O
One of our missions is to revitalise classic loudspeakers for you and for the environment, so we’re extremely excited to see @BangOlufsen Beosound Level become the first consumer electronics product to be @CradletoCradle certified! #circulareconomy#c2c
@AmosLightnin Thanks for clarifying. The performance issue with large libraries is actually on our radar and there’s a clear room for improvement there. We would love to hear about your issue with search if it’s something we can address easily.
@AmosLightnin Hi Amos, it’s on our list we want to improve, but reports are welcome (although I can’t promise immediate changes at this time). The code lives in a few different repos but since it’s all intermingled, bang-olufsen/create is probably the best catch-all. // Tuomas from B&O
@flandersen08 I guess we will never find out why, but very glad to hear you are all set now. Do hit us up if you have other questions down the road. Have a great weekend! 🔈☀️ // Tuomas/B&O
@flandersen08 2/2 After the collection is done, you should be able to download a zip file with all the information in it. You can email it to [email protected] and I'll follow up with you through there. // Tuomas/B&O
@flandersen08 Thanks for this, at least we could rule out that it's an issue in the service end. You can collect log files through General -> System Tools -> Diagnostic Information -> Collect Information. Please do a search before this so that possible errors end up in the log. 1/2
@flandersen08 If you're willing, I suggest restoring the previous software version and trying if the problem persists. Go to General -> Software Update -> Advanced, and you should see the option for it. What makes this so odd is that we changed nothing about Radio search in this update. 2/2
@flandersen08 This is very odd indeed. Using your specific query I'm getting results just fine, on two different systems (one Beocreate, one DAC+ DSP). The search is done on the Raspberry Pi so which browser you use shouldn't matter. 1/2
@flandersen08 Following up to this issue, are you seeing this with every search query? Search for Radio appears to be working fine in our tests. // Tuomas/B&O
