Very exited that @ortamisemitz has a partal focus on #ImpSci at the International Primary Health Conference in Dodoma. I am honored to have had an opportunity to interact with many brilliant minds the passed days. Thanks @UNICEFTanzania for the opportunity!

Greatful to have been invited by @ortamisemitz and @UNICEFTanzania to speak about implementation practice and implementation research at the International Primary Health Conference in Dodoma. So many fantastic interactions! #impsci#iphc
Leaving Basel (unfortunately by air and not train….) reinvigorated despite repetitions of old frustration. If anything the #ImpSci community is already practicing “Slow Implementation” if you ask me…but: things take time. Thanks @implementEIC for fantastic #EIE2023
Presented the Perinatal Knowledge Into Practice project from Vietnam - an excellent example of how a facilitated social innovation building on local engagement can lead to health-improvements. It echoes many of the key messages at #EIE2023#ImpSci link: https://t.co/fYWy9Ca55m
When is the last date for responding to the exciting questions about the future of #ImpSci that you posted at #EIE2023@allisonjmetz? Link to the curious: https://t.co/mR7J2iGP1m
Love the comparison of using theories/models/frameworks as that of using your toothbrush by Bruce Chorpita: everyone has one, noone wants to use anyone else’s #ImpSci#EIE2023
The #ImpSci community is so busy talking about ‘barriers’ but I think we should approach this by speaking about ‘needs’ - what do target audience/organizations NEED for implementation of X to happen? Ask them and listen and tailoring will happen #EIE2023
So often I hear #ImpSci people saying things like “we want to achieve local ownership” - but if we departed from the local problem - ownership would have been a pre-requisite, and sustainability of implementation efforts less of an issue…. #EIE2023
As an #impsci scientist it is crystal clear to me that wherever in the world I am key is to prioritize to work on issues relevant to the people/context where I am and strive to strengthen established structures. Sounds trivial maybe, but not sure we walk the talk #EIE2023
Really excited after listening to @oliver_kathryn challenging the #EIE2023 to reflect around academics roles and responsibilities in engaging with stakeholders. Thank you for setting an exciting tone to the conference💎
Oi EUROPEAN #impsci community - here is a link to a survey brought by the @IfIS_UZH and the @implementEIC who are collaborating to create a map of implementation research capacities onthe continent #EIE2023
