@splainthis@kinsellawarren The Danforth is really no longer a useable road. At least some of the bike lanes need to be removed. It was a fun experiment but it doesn’t work.
@kinsellawarren driving on the Danforth feels like a virtual reality game of MarioKart. Watch out for the bikes ignoring street lights, ohoh pedestrian j-walking , hm it was a lane a minute ago

Traffic Services Superintendent Scott Baptist joined by Mayor John Tory to Announce “Keep Toronto Moving”, Is this moving? TTC is a public service? Is this service? Nothing moving here Wasn’t this a last @JohnCampaign promise? #Tory’s Traffic!
Councillor Layton thinks “data would support” permanent Yonge bike lanes but ignores that current data disregards impacts from Yonge’s central role in the growing regional transit network and TransformTO’s call for dedicated bus lanes.@JohnTory@JayeRobinson@joshmatlow@m_layton
As per usual the city ‘crats did not allow enough time for feedback and questions. Not that they will listen to anyone about the traffic chaos people like the city’s Bike Lane guru Jacquelyn Hayward have created throughout the city… Bloor/Woodbine/Yonge St come to mind.
Bloor. Danforth. Woodbine. Yonge St. And now Babs Gray and her Bike Lanes boobs in transportation are intent on messing up Eglinton with cycle tracks. Have the biz and residents living through 12 years of Eg-Crosstown construction not suffered enough?
After 4 years of unrelated 'studies' and confirmation bias - without Chief Planner, or references to growth projections, or any Q2 2019 interim findings - staff sticks to 2-lane link between Downtown and Midtown. Anyone supervising? @JohnTory@JayeRobinson@joshmatlow@m_layton
