Tiwi is now connected to Kwale , ongoing project to join the Kwale Matuga road at the Kenya Bixa junction.

What does this mean ?

✅️Diani Ukunda Galu residents seeking services at Kwale HQs don't need to drive all the way to Kombani .

✅️Tour vehicles heading to Tsavo dont need to drive all the way to the Dongo Kundu bypass. Simply head to Kwale then Kinango ( this road is also being tarmacked ) then join Mombasa Nbi highway at Samburu.

✅️ Quick connection to Shimna national reserve including revamped Mwalunganje sanctuary

Infrastructure is an enabler, fix the enablers and they will come .

Ive read the brief. They missaplied debt restructuring. We did not restructure the USD loans. We refinanced i.e paid them off with new RMB loans. China Exim did not take a haircut, neither did we get term extension as claimed. China gained on the 2% fixed rate loan. Win-win.

Africa’s commercial dairy herd is <10m, ~1/2 in Kenya. Rest is traditional zebu, mostly pastoralist herds. Case in point Kenya 5m dairy, 20m zebu (+60m sheep and goats) . Most of our beef comes from the pastoralist herd. Beef has overtaken tea & horticulture in gdp contribution.
