@carlvellotti Explaining the "why" should be part of any roadmap discussion or presentation. Can be done by describing 3-4 themes, goals, and/or target personas upfront, then every item on the roadmap should clearly align to one of those

@lennysan Would be interesting to contrast with a failure... Maybe the guest is building a great product now but was part of a failed one in the past. What's different? What lessons are most influential from the failure?
@JustAnotherPM Asking questions is great advice, but the part people forget: don't ask the same question twice. That's what causes an engineer to lose faith in the PM. If needed, write down the answer in the moment, then research it later to make it stick
