My take aways from Consensus 2025, Toronto:
1 - more scammers and con artists than I imagined
2 - lots of hammers looking for nails, most companies will not survive
3 - most I talked to have no clue about how the internet and DNS works; pro tip: your blockchains won’t work without it, learn it!
4 - continued ignorance of trademark law will bite back some day

I’m still bullish on programmable money, smart contracts, and a future monetary system not controlled by governments. That said, never underestimate their power.
