Reflecting on a week off and considering whether I have indeed gone overboard on the homemaking..
I’ve baked cakes, bread, made a month’s worth of meals portioned in the freezer, completed DIY projects, waxed my Barbour and fermented a whole load of veg.
I’m off next week too..
I've never seen anything like this. A swarm settled in a bush in August & survived. Today 5 combs of bees & brood. No honey. Now rescued and living at home in #Lancashire . To bee continued.....watch this space for their progress 🐝@bbka @margaretginman @leponline @BBCCountryfile
To what extent do the less pristine areas of London contribute to culture / inspiration / purpose? Do those in start ups and the arts really want to migrate to the city and lose what makes them different and so effective?

“The wily insects chew through the bark and convert the tree’s only defense mechanism—a toxic sticky, resin—into pheromones to alert thousands of their friends to join in on the mass attack, using it as a place to lay their eggs and eventually killing it.”
Our generation’s understanding of history is heavily informed by Netflix’s production bias. Presented as documentary, delivered as drama, phrased as entertainment. We consume current media but do we question the producer’s motive or do we let them dictate our view? #Chicago 7
