@JosephKahn To your point… Artists can also reference these videos in numerous ways over time and build lucrative business through nostalgia and positive responses. Merch, toys, special edition prints, etc that call back iconic imagery sells a ton!!
@BradyShearer This has a lot to do w/what we have learned about socials over the years (harmful effects, etc). Also, regularly being introduced to new platforms and jumping from Myspace to Facebook to Twitter to Vine to Instagram to Snapchat then back to IG… This is more about fatigue. 😑
@flowidealism Yes, this tracks. I noticed the connection pretty early on. Primarily because my kid started playing with Transformers first, robotics, then Legos. My 5 year old has even been captivated by the recent Artemis II space launch! 🚀
@BradyShearer There needs to be a tutorial out there for church filmmakers. Many of them don’t know how to articulate what they want from people in these types of videos. 😵💫
There’s this endearing quality about Hoopers that stays with you long after you’ve watched it! It kind of reminded me of Arrested Development, the TV show. IYKYK. The recurring gags are soooo good! 😂
