Inexpensive road running shoes make great trail running shoes. They are lighter than trail running ones. I don’t worry about getting them scuffed like expensive ones. They have more traction on hard packed & rocky trails. They don’t get as hot as trail running ones. #trailrunning

I love barefoot running shoes on the treadmill. Treadmills have built in shock absorption.

For outside a like a zero drop shoe with a decent stack height to give some shock absorption.
