🎉We are very happy to announce that today we are launching our membership model, #HIVE.
In doing so, we are opening a new chapter for our magazine and invite you to become part of it.
Over the years, K2.0 has gathered readers in #Kosovo, in the region and around the world, who have supported us and consistently nurtured our quality journalism. We have built a community of readers, especially in the Kosovar diaspora in #Germany, the U.S. and Italy.
However, it hasn't been easy, financially, to maintain this type of journalism. As funding becomes increasingly challenging for media outlets, we call upon you, our readers, to join our journey and continue to maintain our magazine — an independent platform where together we can imagine the world differently.
Your support for K2.0’s new chapter is invaluable to every team member.

It’s so meaningful to have platform’s like @DuaLipa’s @Service95 bring attention to the struggles and bravery of LGBTQAI+ activists in Kosovo. It was wonderful to talk to these four inspiring people and I am so happy their stories will now reach a wide audience.
Welcome to our Pride takeover! This week’s issue holds a special place in my heart as we introduce four incredible queer Kosovar activists, who sit down with Besa Luci (@besaluci) to discuss the LGBTQIA+ experience in Kosovo. Discover it now on https://t.co/24D15IDbKP!
.@BesaLuci Media informs & helps understand better. The issues that unite us as communities are more than we may think. Articles about collab. between 🇦🇱&🇷🇸 groups are important, also to address the challenges that transcend ethnic lines like healthcare, education, employment...
Listen to our limited #podcast series Other Talking Points, hosted by K2.0 editor-in-chief @BesaLuci.
Launched in December, we have released eight episodes, and more are coming. 🎙
6/7 This story shows the double discrimination Kosovars face. First by still being subject to the visa regime, and second by being treated callously in the process.
1/ By 2010, the citizens of all #Balkan countries had been freed from the expensive, exhausting and sometimes hostile process of obtaining #visas to enter the #EU.
Except #Kosovo. 🧵

Check out this article, a great experiment with ChatGPT and especially what it could mean for journalism.

10 years ago our issue on Sex challenged exclusionary understandings of sexual orientation, gender identity and roles.
It’s been 10 years since K2.0 staff, LGBTQ+ individuals and allies were attacked. So much has changed, so much has stayed the same.
1. Tomorrow, October 13, the @EUCouncil working group is meeting and visa liberalization for Kosovo is on the agenda.
#Kosovo is the only country in the Balkans whose citizens must get a visa to travel to the #EU. 🧵
