@MrWilliamsY1 @MissHoward_SPED Odd Socks? I wear those every day, but I definitely agree we should embrace and spread awareness of every disorder and setback a child is faced with. I will wear"odd socks" every day!! #CIMT400
In my collaborative classroom group, we weren't able to discuss the other classes because I have not taken the ones they are currently in. I did, however, give them information and tips on how to manage Della's schedules, routines, and strategies to tackle their reports #CIMT400
Why don't we just move back into the 19th century when we didn't have to worry about technology. I am going to be a teacher that excludes technology in the classroom if I feel like it will harm my students well-being. #CIMT400
@EdWeekTeacher Hashtag Retweet! I feel as in if I am one of these students. Looking at screens makes me read information fast and not retain it. In my future classroom, I am going to continue to use copies and hands-on projects. We can't lose the opportunity to use our sense of touch.. #CIMT400
@MissHoward_SPED I knowwwww...... I can't believe it's over..... My students didn't want me to leave. I am most definitely stopping by every chance I can to see them. MIne went great if you couldn't tell! I wish I had done more assignments with them now. How did yours go?! #CIMT400
@AprilVore 👏👏👏 Hats off to you!! I am glad your students were able to execute it perfectly. It will be a while until you see me trying to execute that project. #CIMT400
This article is awesome! It can be easily manipulated into an arts curriculum, but there are ways to do it with other classes. Students are becoming uninterested in projects that don't pertain to their daily life. Creating a lesson with their life culture is amazing! #CIMT400
This is a great lesson to teach kids about the evolution of Pop Art. First, show famous artists who impacted us such as @artistwarhol, @artlichtenstein, etc. Then eventually have the students realize everything around us has been turned into Pop Art! #CIMT400
Pop Art Food Wrapper oil pastel drawings created by 8th graders! Students photographed & cropped wrappers, enlarged their images using grids, then added oil pastels to help bring these to life. So excited by these! #arted#arteducation#artsed#k12artchat#sbpdchat#connectXRDS
@AprilVore I would definitely love to see and hear about your project! In the near future, I would most definitely show and teach my kids the techniques of paper quilling. If you are up for the challenge, then I can!! #CIMT400
The painting class I have has been a blast! The students love having me as a teacher and I am loving the experience. There have been challenges because the class is composed of different expertise from the students, so there have been modifications made. #CIMT400
In visual arts, do we grade students off of a standardized test on if they remember the material? Or should we let them create a final work that displays aspects of what they have learned from class for their grade? Art is about experincing the world of creativity! #CIMT400
My experience has been great. The students have been working on the same assignment since the first day, so I wasn't able to see how my teacher transitioned a new project. My first-day teaching and controlling the class is tomorrow. I hope they enjoy my 1st assignment! #CIMT400
https://t.co/JDrV5HdJYl @AprilVore@artedwith_coler@bestwithhess here’s the link to the article about it! It’s artwork created by and created for those who are visually impaired!
My field experience has been great, though my host teacher forgot to introduce me until the third day... I have been staying later with my teacher to help with grades, materials, copies, and etc. The last thing, am I the only one who hasn't looked at Module 1 Packet yet? #CIMT400
Everyone is somewhere on this cycle and should always try to attempt art. It is a good outlook, stress reliever, and communication for students, children, and adults. #CIMT400
