Abiy Ahmed is escalating his destructive agenda by inciting total war and irreversible chaos in Ethiopia. Reliable sources indicate that after failing to entice the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) into an alliance with the authoritarian regime led by the Oromo Prosperity Party (OPP) in the #WarOnAmhara, under the disguise of maintaining Oromo dominance, Abiy has now turned to the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), urging them to launch a full-scale invasion of Amhara territories, including Wolkait.
Consequently, the corrupt and anti-Ethiopia leadership of the TPLF seems poised to commit another grave mistake by embarking on a reckless military venture. The misguided actions of the TPLF are likely to result in all-out war, extensive devastation in both the Tigray and Amhara regions, and pose a serious threat to the unity of the country. Moreover, this could destabilize the entire sub-region, particularly Ethiopia's immediate neighbors.
