If this hits home, I’m diving deep into this + sustainable healthy habits in my Summer Strong coaching group. Starts April 21st—online, with videos, resources, and live calls. Comment “STRONG” for details! 💪
I used to think hitting my body goals meant being “ON” 24/7. One slip-up—too much dessert, chips & queso, or a missed workout—and I’d spiral. YOLO for days (or months, lol), then “start over.” Spoiler: that’s a trap. 🧵
When I stopped expecting every day to be perfect, the guilt vanished. IT IS WHAT IT IS. Make the best call, own it, move on. That’s the real game-changer.
I swear to god I am going to make pamphlets will all the major, minor, & possible symptoms of perimenopause/menopause to hand out to women. Because we are not told about these things & doctors don’t warn us or have these discussions. Why is it up to women to inform one another?
4. Prioritize Protein - make sure protein is the star of your meal or snack (palm sized portion is a good start)
5. RELAX - the holidays are stressful, find ways to recharge yourself.
Stay consistent with your fitness over the holidays and still enjoy yourself! Here are 5 things to focus on:
1. Strength Training 3-4x week
2. Move your body - 8-10K steps/day
3. Sleep 7-8hrs per night, min screen time before bed

5. Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl
-A classic that everyone should read. It will change your perspective on suffering and how we deal with it and move forward. You will feel inspired to live life and bring meaning in all you do. (6/6)
Reading is my favorite hobby. It's essential to who I am. Reading allows me to satiate my curiosity about the world, become a better version of myself, and escape to a different place when I want to.
I want to share my current top 5 (in no particular order or genre): (1/6)
4. The Smartest Guys in the Room by Bethany McLean
-As a Houstonian at this time, hearing about Enron and knowing people it affected, I was quite interested in the story. Blow my mind how it came to be, continued, & illusions of profit drove so many horrible decisions. (5/6)
