watching this for the first time in the theater surrounded by diehard SATC fans, you could feel your stomach drop, hear the gasps when Carrie knocked the shit out of Big w/those flowers, but baby when Charlotte yelled "no...NOOoOoOoo"
we all nodded in solidarity, never forgot it
Just saw an Instagram reel that said:
“At some point you become the age that your parents were in your childhood memories, only you don’t feel like an adult, and you realize your parents were still just kids trying to figure it out too”
And that shit just fucked me up.
Being in your 30s is realizing you can actually just... leave. The relationship. The friendship. The room. The situation. You don’t need to stay anywhere that doesn’t feel good anymore.
I am a difficult person to be with. I get irritated quickly, I'm not impressed by anything. I have low tolerance for nonesense e.g (lack of communication, assuming the worst of me) and I am a leaver. I will leave
Y’all want grown women with teenage dating habits and I’m not doing it. We’re 30+. Plan the date, communicate, be consistent, and stand on what the fuck you say.
