In college I published some short stories and poetry. It made a little bit of money to pay for textbooks and whatnot.

When I took my Deaf Ed certification test, I was breezing through when I came across a poem. The question was about the author's message about Deaf culture.

@ThrillaRilla369 In grades 7 and 8, the girls took home ec and the boys took shop. In grade 8 though, two of the boys took home ec with us. I think it was their idea, but it's also possible they couldn't be trusted around equipment in shop. I quite liked home ec but wish I could have done both
