I have dyslexia and at school felt like I was the problem, except for in drama. There I felt like a part of the solution, because in drama thinking outside of the box, imagination, failure, and non-written communication skills are celebrated!
To say the students did an outstanding job tonight would be a huge understatement… they absolutely blew me away & their huge audience adored it. They were amazing. I am so lucky to work with the most wonderful lot ❤️ I am so so proud!! My living room is now full of flowers!!🥺
@misswrightdrama Then I’ve also created some Instagram profiles using templates off Google of different theatre practitioners! These have already caught the attention of all my classes!! I’ve used the bio & photos to really help show each practitioners style!
@misswrightdrama So I have just recently got a new room with sooo many empty display boards!! I’ve filled them with bits like key vocab eg vocal/physical skills so I can continuously point to them in lessons, KS3&4!
@misswrightdrama I’ve also done a board of using colourful theatre ticket templates and filled them with what they study each term for each year group with a title ‘what does drama at ___ school look like’!
I officially have a brand new, fully refurbished and modernised drama studio!!! And it’s all mine!! I absolutely cannot wait to get decorating and make it look wonderful 🎭👩🏫
