And what if the crypto ecosystem became the main buyer of American debt?

So far, American debt was purchased in various ways:

-Printing money via QE (which ended in 2021 due to inflation)
-Private investors

With the growing increase in debt, the impossibility of printing more money due to inflation, and the low return offered by buying debt...who will buy the debt in the future?

One hypothesis (which is actually not a hypothesis, but a reality) posed by @fejau_inc in his newsletter is that the crypto ecosystem can become the main buyer of this debt.

Who specifically?

For example, currently, Circle, Tether, and MakerDAO, the main issuers of stablecoins, together already have more than $70B in treasury holdings.

And this is not going to stop in the future, so...do states have incentives to ban the cow that is giving them milk? Maybe not.

As I said, I read this reflection in the newsletter that @fejau_inc sent out yesterday.

It's one of the projects I have the most conviction in.

-Defispot: a dapp similar to ChainFlip that allows for easy and fast cross-chain exchanges. It still needs some tweaks to run completely smoothly, but even with that, it remains a very good product. Launch at the end of April.

-Exverse: one of the first web3 games to attempt implementing AI in it. It won't be implemented from DAY1, but it's in their plans. In the 2nd-3rd week of April, there will be a tournament with prizes, and I think it will be the ideal time to check if it's fun and if it gains traction or not.
The launch of their token is expected in the 3rd week of April.

-Friend Tech: theoretically, version 2 is launching on 4/20 and likely, the airdrop of their token as well. If this is indeed the case, we will probably see a tremendous inflow of liquidity into FT and Base, which could lead to some very crazy developments.

-??? (4/20): that same day, another very relevant event will occur; undoubtedly the most important day of the month. An announcement is expected from our beloved major cult, but I better not give any spoilers.

The launch of Berachain's mainnet, the moment we've all been waiting for, is about to arrive.

With it, the seed raises for Berachain-native projects, such as Ooga Booga, are starting to be announced publicly.

Ooga Booga is Berachain's first native liquidity aggregator. It's similar to Jupiter on Solana or 1inch on Ethereum but with a VERY important difference: Real Yield.

An aggregator is basically a dApp that optimizes purchases or sales by finding the most efficient routes possible.

Besides its native DEX, Berachain will have more DEXs and protocols offering decentralized exchanges, each with its own liquidity or shared liquidity.

If you want to do a swap, you have two options: choose a DEX and operate there OR use an aggregator.

The aggregator will find the cheapest DEX, and therefore, offer you the best price without you having to worry about anything.

But Ooga Booga doesn't just offer that; it will also implement other very useful functions like:

- Gasless swaps: you can make swaps without needing $BERA (like Matcha auto)

- Multiasset swaps: you can exchange various different assets and receive other distinct assets atomically with just 1 tx. Imagine you have 30 shitcoins on Berachain and you want to sell all them in 1 tx; you'll be able to do that in 1 tx with this function (like Odos)

- DCA: automatic onchain twaps (like Cowswap)

- Onchain Limit orders: already well-known

The protocol captures fees from each of these services (and, if they distribute them, which is what I believe they will do, the protocol would be real yield).

CONCLUSIONS
Personally, I'm very bullish on this project. Being the first native aggregator is a very important differential advantage.

If they manage to capture people's attention and position themselves well, I have no doubt that Ooga Booga will be among the top projects on Berachain.
