@ChildrensHD We see these kids every day in my practice and the statistics here reflect real families and the stress can be overwhelming for the parent left behind when their partner is deployed. We need to do better!
🚨 WOW! The National Athem before the Army-Navy game, with President Trump on the field, might just be the BEST rendition I’ve ever heard
How can anyone listen to this and NOT feel patriotic?! 🇺🇸🦅
At TACA, we are so glad that a valuable treatment, #Leucovorin, for autism is finally getting the attention it deserves.
In addition concerns about acetaminophen. Here is where families can learn more: https://t.co/fg7ozzPWhb https://t.co/xFU5BZDugR

WE HAVE A PROBLEM: This is a well written and thought out article written by a 26 yr old college student by the name of Alyssa Ahlgren, who's in grad school for her MBA. What a GREAT perspecitve...
My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us!
I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around.
I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it.
Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought.
We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!!
Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ??
Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity."
Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in.
When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided.
My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress.
Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country.
People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism.
Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism.
We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague." Please Share
This man support the LA protest; keep going, burn your own backyard if you must. Why? You’re the right’s best unpaid campaign ad. Throwing tantrums, screaming “death to America” in a country that gave you freedom to do it. Flying foreign flags while trashing the nation that grants your rights isn’t pride, it’s stupidity. Every time y'all riot, loot, tear things up, you're just birthing another red voter.
@JBPritzker Do your own research on WHY he has these views, spend 24 hours with a family who has a child with autism, talk to a farmer who has gotten cancer from a lifetime of using Glysophate on his crops, and then search your own soul for the answers…
@DrNeilStone Go and speak with a parent who would argue the opposite. Sit with their child as they scream over bed time. As they cover their ears because the toilet is too loud, as they have seizures every day. These children were developing normally before their scheduled immunizations.
This one goes out to you, @RobertKennedyJr.
You never once faltered in your mission. But more exemplary still, you treated those who lied about you and betrayed you with ever-ready grace. Even when the world wasn’t watching. Even when the people who attacked you in public were the ones you loved the most.
You fought for America in the face of fire and falsehoods. Time and again, you endured the vitriol and mud without ever flinging it back from whence it came. You defended our nation’s children without thought of defending yourself.
That rare combination — fierce determination and boundless forgiveness — reminds us that certainty of purpose need not mean smallness of character.
You’ve proven anew the power of grace and grit and service. Of cultivating brotherly and sisterly love, of respectful conversation. Of curiosity and equanimity. Of prayer and obedience to God. Of seeking the truth. Of speaking the truth. And of making space, still, for mischief and humble good humor.
You set out to end our chronic disease epidemic. Along the way, you inadvertently helped heal our national soul.
Congratulations, Bobby. You did it. And more than that, you did it right.
@pd5132@DrNeilStone@HighnessOphelia Walk in the shoes of a parent of a child with ASD who has MULTIPLE medical conditions including nutritional deficiencies, gut dysbiosis, seizures, allergies, asthma, skin conditions, self injurious behaviors. They would likely take a case of the measles any day…
I am thrilled to announce Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as The United States Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to Public Health. The Safety and Health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration, and HHS will play a big role in helping ensure that everybody will be protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming Health Crisis in this Country. Mr. Kennedy will restore these Agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research, and beacons of Transparency, to end the Chronic Disease epidemic, and to Make America Great and Healthy Again!
@Strandjunker I’m voting for the protection of my first amendment rights. Also voting for the health of our citizens and most importantly our children. We should be worried about protecting the well being of our living children instead of insisting on dying on the sword of killing them?
@SethAbramson Isn’t the point of journalism to report the news in a non -partisan manner? Does it not then make sense that a news agency would not take sides in an election?
NEW: JD Vance tells Americans they are making a “terrible mistake” if they end lifelong friendships because of the election.
A good reminder.
Vance opened up about some of his personal friends who don’t agree with his politics.
“If you're discarding a lifelong friendship because somebody votes for the other team, then you've made a terrible, terrible mistake and you should do something different.”
“Most of my family obviously is gonna vote for Donald Trump and JD Vance, and if they're not, actually, I need to talk to 'em, but, I've got friends who like me personally, acquaintances, who aren't necessarily gonna vote for me.”
“That doesn't make them bad people. Whether you vote for me, whether you vote for Donald Trump, whether you vote for Kamala Harris…”
“Don't cast aside family members and lifelong friendships. Politics is not worth it. And I think we follow that principle. We'll heal the divide in this country.“
