5/6 Caveats: safety, healthcare and most air quality figures are country level, so cities in one country share them. The Peace Index also counts conflict and militarization, which says little about street crime. 17 outlier cities are hidden but still count in the percentiles.
4/6 Quality score uses Numbeo’s weights without its price terms. Safety: Global Peace Index 2026. Healthcare: WHO UHC index. Air: IQAir 2025 PM2.5. Climate: a temperature comfort score where heat and cold both cost points. Traffic is still Numbeo.
1/6 I rebuilt the ‘most livable cities’ chart around local pay instead of a fixed $86K salary. Across: rent plus living costs as a share of typical local net pay. Up: quality of life percentile. 211 cities, Numbeo data from Oct 2026. Design after @thealepalombo.
3/6 Both axes are split into thirds. 41 cities land in Best Value (top-third quality, under 76% of local pay), including Zurich, Vienna, Gothenburg and The Hague. 35 land in Bad Value (bottom-third quality, over 120%).
2/6 The median city spends 94% of local net pay on a city-centre one-bedroom plus living costs. In 86 of the 211 cities the share is above 100%, which mostly means locals live in cheaper housing than that one-bedroom.
@harris_irfan Profit rate is same as the interest rate.
E.g., Toyota Malaysia has Toyota Capital, manufacturers own financing house, through which customers can finance their Toyota vehicle purchases
@harris_irfan
Could you pls help me understand if the following option is better (i.e. permissible) than dealing with “islamic” banks to finance a car purchase:
