Hi @Alitalia, your new travel policy states that passengers with a ticket for a flight until march 8 can exchange it for a departure no later than March 31. Do you expect the epidemy situation to have improved by 31/3 ? What about a flight on March 14 and what about a refund?
The U.S. number 1 (800) 223-5730 for @Alitalia has been busy for 4 days. How is anyone supposed to change or cancel of flight? Supposed to have flown with them tomorrow but the conference I was attending was canceled because of the #CoronavirusOutbreak.
Italy - 5,883 covid-19 diagnoses. 1,247 of those just in the last 24 hours. 230 deaths. 50 of those in the last 24 hours. @LeoVaradkar Cancel the parade. Cancel flights from Italy. Do something before it's too late. Show people there's a heart in there somewhere.
@Expedia@British_Airways I can’t believe you won’t allow me to cancel my trip to Italy because of a policy. Forcing my family and I to travel and take an unwanted risk. That is making profit at your finest and not caring about the customer whatsoever. #NeverAgain#capitalism
@Alitalia why won’t you refund the money for plane tickets purchased when your country is basically shutting down because of #COVID19
This is terrible customer service!
@HealthyFla Please help me. The CDC says that the US should not travel to Italy but the airline Alitalia will not refund my 3 tickets for Rome Italy for March 13,2020. I want to follow the rules that the CDC & Gov Desantis put out but how can I when I am being refused a refund
Hey @alitalia What are you doing about Americans who booked an Alatalia flight to Italy? There is a level 3 and 4 warning from the US State department to cancel unnecessary travel to Italy. We should get our money back! When will there be a statement or waiver policy?!
