Right in the middle of a rainy moment, a tiny bird becomes the star of something truly magicalβa perfect water droplet lands on its head, forming a crown-like splash that feels almost unreal. The timing is flawless, capturing a split second where nature turns playful.
JUST IN: The FDA is ending inhumane testing on beagles, chimpanzees, and other animals.
This is a win for animals, a win for science, and a win for common sense.
For too long, defenseless, voiceless animals have suffered in government labs while βscienceβ was used as an excuse for animal cruelty. This is why we introduced legislation like the PAAW Act to stop the NIH from funding research causing significant pain or distress to dogs and cats. This is also why we secured victories in the NDAA stopping the DoW from conducting painful or unnecessary testing on cats, dogs, and other animals.
Science has moved forward. Our policies should follow.
