In our Chatterbooks club at the Holme Primary, we’ve been continuing to shadow the @CarnegieMedals for illustration with The Tree and the River by @storybreathing. We had a brilliant discussion and you can see from the photo how much we all loved it! Thank you!
Day made. One of my year 6 pupils bought the new @annabelwriter book for me and got it signed!!! I’m beyond excited about it and don’t know how the author knows me so well. #ibelieveinunicorns
@UrbanStrides at Wembley with my tribe from the Holme, Headley. We’re having an amazing day but the kids want you to know that they are missing Andy’s inner chinchilla.
🎶 Oh don’t give us none of your quiet evenings
We’ve had it with your stayin’ in

@PieCorbett@higgins_dee@Misterbodd My cousins and I used to have Famous Five picnics with lashings of ginger beer. Enid definitely made me a reader and my complete set of FF books (all 21) is one of my prize possessions.
@gasstreetmusic at wildfires and today at the orchard conference you led a song which I think was called Confession. We LOVED it!! But we can’t find it to listen to. Can you help?
@EdTangled@MrsBlinc One of our pupils on a reduced timetable has just been given the highest level EHCP which states that he needs a specialist place. There are currently no places in SEMH schools in Hants for him. The system is failing him. He can only manage 90 mins in school 1:1
@MrsBlinc@EdTangled I agree - the level of need right now is so high - we’ve never seen any thing like it and are struggling to manage with our staffing levels and seem to be unable to recruit TAs. We’ve got two on reduced timetables both for them and for us.
@extrasalt513 None of the vicars quoted in that article have said “skip church and pray for lionesses”. What they are doing is moving something that is entirely moveable to accommodate an important cultural moment. Prayer and worship are NOT just for Sundays at 10.30am. Poor headline IMO.
@Bren4Bassetlaw I’m 52 and i I had to list my O level results on my last application form 3 years ago and had to prove my English and Maths results when I applied for teacher training 8 years ago. Lifelong learning is essential but to say that grades won’t matter in 10 years is false.
@campbellclaret When I applied for teacher training aged 45 I had to prove my maths and English o’levwl results. These would have been a deal breaker despite A levels, uni degree and poat grad diploma. AND my bursary depended on me having got a 2:1 in my degree 24 years earlier. They do matter.
As we get closer to our concert our artistic director may be running out of imaginative ways to improve our choral skills:
“Basically just sing better!” 🤣🎶🤣🎶

So the guard has just announced that he’s sorry for the overcrowded train - it should have been 8 carriages but it’s only 4. Tell that to the people we left behind at Clapham.
On the last train to Havant out of Waterloo. It’s rammed. There are people squeezed into every possible corner including the bendy gap between the carriages. Only four carriages. @SW_Help this is rubbish.
