the yin yang symbolism belongs uniquely to calebmc. they are two halves of the exact same origin, opposing forces that complement one another, but fated to never actually be together.

we see this clearly in yin yang sundering. even though they share the same origin, yin and yang cannot occupy the same space without destroying the balance. caleb collects yin energy just so his sister can live off the yin energy provided by him.
