Israeli Deputy Minister Almog Cohen announced a plan to introduce a bill naming a lounge at Ben Gurion Airport after Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar, honoring his extraordinary bravery in helping foil an alleged cockpit attack and crash attempt aboard a commercial flight.

[Daniel Lubetzky @DanielLubetzky]

A co-pilot stabs the pilot and tries to crash a plane with 150 passengers on board - and the @nytimes and @CNN call it an “altercation”?!

It’s very dangerous when media platforms bend over backwards to avoid the word “terrorism.” They even withhold facts as if to shield their audience from facts.

The facts include that an Omani co-pilot tried to murder an Indian pilot of a Dubai-based airline on a flight to Israel and then sought to crash the plane. The Indian pilot was heroic and managed to open the cockpit and be aided by other heroes - Israeli passengers who managed to regain control over the plane and land it safely - in Saudi Arabia. And Saudis provided humane care to the crew and the passengers, even though Saudi Arabia and Israel don’t have diplomatic relations!

I’ve seen the effects of hiding facts. In Germany, for example, both politicians and the media studiously avoid reporting on terrorist incidents by Islamist fundamentalists. As a result, citizens have lost trust in them. This has created a huge void now being filled by extremist parties that are far more radical.

Many Muslim leaders like Dr. @MissDiagnosis courageously condemn Islamist fundamentalists but most mainstream media won’t give them a voice. These media screeners think they might be helping but instead they hurt all of humanity, including the Muslim community that doesn’t want to be associated with fundamentalists.

It’s high time that this change, and that we allow Builders to speak against all Destroyers and stand for humanity.

Indians love living in Israel!!

[Krina Chauhan @Krinachauhan03]

Shame on you @khanumarfa & @RanaAyyub You can’t even praise an Indian for what he has done because your hatred for Israel runs so deep.
You’re no longer opposing the ruling party in India; you’re opposing India itself.

Listen to the crowd erupt the moment Indian Ambassador JP Singh mentions Captain Smit Machchhare in Tel Aviv. Absolute goosebumps seeing an Indian pilot get this kind of genuine love and respect from Israelis. Real bravery needs no words.

[Anshul Saxena @AskAnshul]

Nitesh Rane absolutely slapped them.

When the Opposition wins Karnataka, Kerala, or Himachal Pradesh, there is no “vote chori,” and their victories are declared as a win for democracy. But the moment they lose, suddenly the votes have been stolen, and democracy is under threat.

And the hypocrisy is even more obvious when you look at Gyanesh Kumar. After the Lok Sabha results, there was no outrage, no demand for his resignation, and no questioning of the electoral process. But now, after a defeat, suddenly Gyanesh Kumar is the target.

And if there was really this massive “vote chori,” then how exactly did the BJP lose Ayodhya?

You can’t celebrate the electoral process when you win and call it rigged when you lose. That’s not a principle. That’s just sour grapes.
