Total Solar Eclipse HDR image, captured with my D800 through a C80 ED refractor telescope.
Even with the naked eye, I was able to see the earthshineas I looked at the star Regulus (peripheral vision).

For my NYC #CovidCautious immunocompromised, disabled, autoimmune, at-risk and general community that can’t get a driver to mask, DM me for info on a personal driver:

I asked my Uber drivers to mask all weekend and they said “Yes ma���am, no problem! Whatever makes you comfortable!”

Always #PreparedNotScared and #MaskedAndRelaxed!

Of COURSE I carry around extra masks, and the driver I had yesterday said, pointing at my 3M Aura: “Do you have any more of those? I’ll take those!”

He gave me permission to use his unidentifiable photo I took. NYC friends, if you need a safe driver, DM me.

*A reminder that masks can break down if left in hot vehicles for too long! Two of my KN95s had a strap break, they’d been in my bag for too long. Check on your masks!*

He then went on to tell me how COVID wasn’t a joke, it wasn’t a cold, and he battled it for a good month.

Truly appreciated all of my drivers this past weekend, and shout out to the friends who tested before agreeing to take me around the entire weekend so I wouldn’t have to worry.

It’s not that hard to be safest. And if your driver won’t mask, open the windows and keep yours on!

@mactavish = a convo w friends: I've said it. Similarly / in a non-race vein but yes social justice vein: "politically correct" was an attempt to shame the left into not seeking justice. So, instead of politically correct a friend suggested trying to swap that for "just/ kind hearted"
