@TrailmixLtd's first ever game, @Love_and_Pies, has just globally launched! it's been a wild ride to get here, but I'm so proud of this game and of the team 😊 it's genuinely so much fun, I've been merging non-stop for months now - go give it a play! https://t.co/FmrnFGNtbY
these are good tips. however the game I've worked on for 4 years that's been out for 2 years is not like this. I wish I was kidding when I say that ~60% of our assets are in a jumbled mess under a top level folder called TempAssets 🥲
nurses, rail workers and posties are trying to ensure we have a functional NHS, a functional railway and a functional postal service after more than a decade of tory privatisation which has left *everything* in this country worse. this is about what we all will have in the future
@ZenInternetHelp hello - our Zen internet has been completely down for a good two hours or so, how do I report the problem so I can be eligible for compensation? restarting my router didn't help, and your status page is flooded with errors which don't have area codes
@RiseburyCrisis ah okay BBC weather's map has a few very localised storms around London, so I guess it's related to those even though they're so local the rain doesn't even get to us
@innesmck holy shit I'm so impressed with how much you've done! and it looks amazing! I've literally been working on a jumper for over a year 😅 and it only has one colour! 🙈
When we go, we go together.
The #Artemis team wants to thank everyone who helped us along the way toward the first launch of the @NASA_SLS rocket and @NASA_Orion.
tbh I already basically only used this app to search "[insert public transport line] delays" to figure out what was going on while on a random tube platform, but now that's literally the only reason I'm not deactivating. and if that goes then 🤷 bye I guess
@thameswater Great, any ETA? It's been about 10 days and it's gone from a small stream that went to a drain in the gutter to, as you can see above, fountaining so heavily that it's flooding the road and blocking travel infrastructure, so I'm understandably concerned about further delay.
@thameswater I reported this leak almost two weeks ago, before it flooded a lane of traffic here near Kings Cross. I reported again today and left my number with the option to call me turned on, but there aren't even any road signs to warn drivers of this knee deep flood.
@thameswater Hi sorry for the delay, I got on the tube. the postcode according to Google maps is N1C 4AU, on York Way in London. I know the online report map says that Thames Water have dispatched an engineer, but it's said that unchanged since I reported it originally
this is a real hazard on a busy road in central London, and the flood is coming from directly next to a building site and is now under a rail bridge. I'm concerned about the potential for sinkhole erosion and damage to these structures, especially the bridge!
here's a fun trip for your mind palace, the concept of pressing a button to actuate a machine does not come into existence until the 1880s.
if you're wondering how the hell anything worked before that, oh boy that's a lot of BAD UI/UX happening
3 weeks in and she's lost the markets $500 billion. not saying that's grounds for dismissal or anything but i once nearly lost my job for buying a curry with a company card
