A St Louis woman has caught a recording breaking fish in British Columbia.
It's an 11 ft. 4 in. white sturgeon.
It's officially the largest freshwater fish ever caught by a female angler at 1,200 pounds.
The fish was tagged and released.

On behalf of my fellow Panamanians, I wish to express my deepest and most sincere gratitude following the powerful, shallow M7.7 earthquake that struck Panama nation, October 9th, 2026.
In moments of disaster, connectivity is not a luxury, it is hope, it is life.
Thank you for your extraordinary work with Starlink across the world. What you have built is far more than a constellation of satellites; it is a lifeline. Today, when traditional networks wavered in Panama, Starlink kept families united, allowed relief efforts to coordinate, and kept me at Indiana State connected to my family in The Republic of Panamá.
