One of the biggest influences on my career is Dr. Ross Camidge - a mentor and friend, an intellectual giant in the field of lung cancer who was diagnosed with this unforgiving disease himself. We are all at risk - and must all work to move the field.

I am begging people to understand that almost every test on the planet has something called "false positives," which means a risk that a result of the test is WRONG. A WRONG result can lead to necessary fear, worry, and at worst, unnecessary INVASIVE procedures or even unnecessary surgery. The chance of someone getting a false positive goes down when the person is at a higher risk of having an actual problem (ie. A specific SYMPTOM). This is called a higher "pretest probability." This is why doctors don't recommend everyone get every test all the time.

@ChrisCPandolfo insinuating that a doctor is incompetent because they have been sued for malpractice is pretty rich coming from a news network that recently settled a defamation lawsuit for $787 million. What do you think multiple indictments says about someone?
To achieve @POTUS’ #CancerMoonshot goal of reducing cancer death rates by 50% over 25yrs, we must address cancer #HealthEquity, maintain/accelerate progress against lung/colon/breast cancers, & innovate against prostate/liver/pancreatic + other cancers. https://t.co/lg6Qvn8tDJ
@Cignaquestions The medicine was received after this person waited 5 extra days on a morphine drip in the hospital due to painful bone mets while we were forced to do this needless exercise. You already know how to fix this @Cignaquestions
