@Callan4077@dillon7bob@pl_european Trust me I've been doing plenty of that this week but more pop up. Hopefully eventually twitter stops putting dumb shit on my for you page and recommends things I'm interested in.
@Callan4077@dillon7bob@pl_european It is still the best place to follow football teams and fans but it is worse than before Elon bought it. Paying people to tweet ruined it. 70% of blue ticks on my time line are just rage baiters grifting for money.
@AABedford@policylaila AI has led to the wrong people being arrested so the technology isn't good enough yet. AI Facial Recognition Leads to Wrongful Arrest at Casino https://t.co/HXSLr2yigF
@TheEnergyGenius @jdpoc Invest in an E-bike if possible. I was doing 28 miles a day at one point and the extra power was a godsend especially on the hills.
@Akakiffa1@jdpoc I think having more people available for jobs pretty much sums up both Labour and the Tories for the past couple of decades so Reform just seems to be tapping from a different source to keep wages low at the bottom end of the market.
@JamieTulacz @LeftieStats Wanting to protect the environment by punishing fly tippers is far right? There are places around my area where people can get rid of waste for free but people would still rather be selfish and dump waste on country paths.
@1892TheRealRed1@CAinTX1@LeftieStats Don't think it works. There is a place very close to me where households can get rid of waste for free but fly tipping is still a big problem. I think the majority must be done by firms not wanting to pay to dispose of industrial waste properly. Either that or people are lazy.
@1918171615141B@SpookyCountry@JimmyGSeamus@JamesDitto12@PirateRep1@shaunrein Americans consume more than any other people you all would need to consume less. Deficit kinda works for you. Goods are traded in dollars so a decent chunk of the money you spend to buy foreign goods will be used to buy US debt or invest in US stock market.
@angeleleli67295@BThumos@awawawhoami Real life metric uses multiples of ten imperial generally multiples of twelve. Ten times table is easier to learn than twelve times table. Metric is only hard if you weren't brought up on it. Dividing 170 metres into centimetres is easier than dividing 170 feet to inches.
@justrightFrank@cath31321673@Avenger1100 Ours have been like that for years general rubbish every 2 weeks and we have the cardboard or glass/ metal ones done every 4 weeks on the week's between general waste. Garden one goes out same time as cardboard. It works if they supply you with Wheely bins for each.
@angeleleli67295@BThumos@awawawhoami It does when you take into account they were not invented to be used interchangeably. Metric is way easier to understand when compared to imperial. It's only because we use both over here that you learn how to convert. The younger gen will be more used to metric.
