I can’t stand the protocol that happens immediately after the Super Bowl is over…

1) they isolate players and coaches for interviews instead of letting them all celebrate their championship together

2) they build a small stage and only allow a few teammates and coaches on it, again isolating the rest of the team and staff

3) they award the trophy to the owner and not the players?!?!?! 🤬

Dear @nfl, tune in to see how the @nhl operates in the 15 minutes following the completion of the Stanley Cup winning game. Players, coaches and staff all celebrate together, with the Stanley Cup being awarded to the players first, after all they are the ones who won it…

And there’s the time honored tradition in the @nhl of formally lining up and shaking hands with the entire opposition, win or lose, to pay respect to each other. It oozes class and sportsmanship, and sets a good example for youth.
