@briantylercohen Take Texas in the 2024 presidential election. 11,380,105 total votes... 6,393,597 for Trump, 4,835,250 for Harris. 11,380,105/40 electoral college votes = 284,502.625 votes per EC vote. Basis the will of the people, Trump should have gotten 23 EC votes and Harris 17.

@DoctorHenryCT Hear arguments about expanding SCOTUS, think, rather, we should look at amending Constitution such that SCOTUS rulings need to be unanimous. If 9 supreme court justices cannot even agree, then they should not have the power to make a ruling that has affects the entire country.

@TeamPillen better job at this than most states. I think we can do better and designate ECV's mathematically basis number of votes rather than by district. Do not think it is productive to pit rural vs urban and have gerrymandered districts.

@andyroddick The change that should be looked at with regard to scotus is that to make a ruling, that ruling should need to be unanimous, if 9 highly intelligent justices cannot agree, the court should not be able to make a binding ruling that affects 300 plus million Americans.
