Because so far, it seems like a pretty desperate attempt to implicate someone citing the timeline he became mayor.

Operation Augusta was closed in 2005, 12 years before I became Mayor.

I ordered a major review of that flawed decision within weeks of taking office in 2017.

It led to a new investigation, Operation Green Jacket, which has brought multiple arrests.👇🏻

Burnham handles this perfectly - staying calm, listening and trying to find as much common ground as he can but not budging on his principles.

The response from James might go down well with a few in his echo chamber but most will see it for the childish behaviour that it is.
