The burning oil terminal at the background for the attendees of the Saint Petersburg International economic forum (SPIEF) is quite a fitting picture of current state of Russia.
Russia’s latest attack on Kyiv is not strength. It is rage, fear, and imperial decay expressed through murder.
Ukraine is hitting Russia where it hurts: oil infrastructure, logistics, military depth, and the illusion that Moscow can wage war without consequence. Ukraine is taking ground again and gaining the initiative. Russia’s economy is strained. Discontent is growing.
So Putin reaches for the only tool he truly understands: terror against civilians.
Russia is punishing civilians because it is failing on the battlefield. Its morally bankrupt strategy of throwing hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers into the slaughterhouse is not strength. It is desperation.
The West needs to stop flinching every time Moscow lashes out. Fear is exactly what the Kremlin is trying to manufacture, and it is the only language Putin understands.
Give Ukraine the air defence. Give Ukraine the ISR. Give Ukraine the long-range strike permissions. Enforce sanctions properly. Break Russia’s capacity to wage this war.
Russia needs to fail militarily, politically, and economically. Putin belongs behind bars for the rest of his pathetic life.
And shame on Trump, yet again, for behaving like Putin’s lackey and refusing to provide Ukraine with the assistance it needs. I am thoroughly disgusted with Trump and the Republican Party.
Has @Nigel_Farage personally sued Ben Habib yet?
Has @Nigel_Farage reported his "hacked" phone to the proper authorities yet?
Has @Nigel_Farage answered how his girlfriend afforded that house in Clacton yet?
Has @Nigel_Farage settled on a lie for that £5 million yet?
“Russia started this war, Russia continues to wage it, and Russia could end it today simply by withdrawing its troops and respecting Ukraine’s sovereignty. The full responsibility lies with the aggressor.”

I completely agree with this statement.
@DrEilidhMaria I've had cases where the CPR provided enough cerebral circulation for the patient to get 'fighty' -> stopping the CPR -> dropping CBF -> losing consciousness -> restart CPR -> CBF rises -> consciousness improves -> fighty again -> and repeat
@DmytroKuleba We were reading in the media in 2021 that Russia has to resortto fighting with shovels. Yet the frontlines are, where they are.
I don't believe anything I read about war (not only this one) on the internet.
Time will tell.
@_iron_rage_@_der_Martin_@DmytroKuleba@grok What percentage of Ukrainian territory is controlled by Russia now, compared to the percentage controlled by Russia in March 2022?
@_iron_rage_@DmytroKuleba In 2021 - before the full-scale invasion began on 24/02/2022?
Sounds like you're a little loose on your facts, so maybe your opinion is a little irrelevant.
Two things caused the mess this country is in:
1. Brexit
2. The Tories
So why vote Reform when:
1. Reform want an even harder Brexit
2 Reform is full of ex-Tories
That is why I will #NeverVoteReform
