@hcetamd@MTSlive@lauriewired Why not just C++ AND python? With a few classes that touch assembly. You have 4 years to work with. Good programmers can learn many languages and stacks, it should be part of the educational experience.
@nicbarkeragain It makes sense conceptually to think of everything as recursive, where you break down an algorithm into each discrete step that operates on subproblems. What you are complaining about, imho, is that our hardware consists of stack machines.
@abdimoalim_ Rust is good at this because tokio is basically a stdlib at this point. You’re criticizing love of tokio.
From my perspective, having primitives like Arc<T> is cleaner in rust than C.
However, I am slightly trolling. I use zig and make my own Arc(T) and Channel(T) stack.
