@slmandel If that’s the issue, why are they playing at all? Once you’ve solidified yourself as a future pro you need to sit down to protect themselves. Most college players would give almost anything to have the chance to play in another game before they are done playing forever.
@barryisthedon If you accept the guys transferring in without hesitation you can’t really be up upset at the guys transferring out. It’s not like Wisconsin is a Final Four contender every year. 3 years without getting to the second weekend for JB, not all on him.
@ACitizen999@majtoure Nothing that led up to that could possibly suggest the immediate escalation from pepper spray to multiple shots into a man laying on the ground already disarmed. If there had been enough to suggest lethal force was warranted than they would have been using the guns, not mace.
@secnumbersguy If you can’t get the players to play as a team it doesn’t matter how much talent there is. Who’s ranking these rosters anyway? Is it based on anything more than “potential”?
@ReichelRadio Highest scoring player on each bench. Still a tie go to second. That way a team isn’t rewarded for having a “better” selection of positions.
@Crow_Guitarist@HoggNFL Might want to brush up on your understanding of the PI rules. Ask yourself why the other receivers are allowed to block before the ball is caught without getting called for PI. This is the same reason Nixon is allowed to hit the receiver before the ball gets there.
@MDourlain@HoggNFL PI rules only apply when the ball is thrown beyond the line of scrimmage. This applies to both the offense and defense which is why the other receivers are allowed to block before the catch occurs.
@secnumbersguy Well it’s not like the conferences and their media partners have been making decisions that are good for the game. Just add this to the list of things making college football less appealing.
@wisconsinsane Oh yay. Next year there will be a really high priced QB lost for most of the season rather than a “value” QB. Until they can keep the first stringer healthy we can’t really expect much.
@HellerSports Did this “full system failure” happen before or after Paul Chryst was fired? Considering he did as good or better with the same or worse resources, not trusting McIntosh’s judgement seems like a valid decision.
@barryisthedon Sadly Fickell will probably go 7-5 next year and they’ll all say “See he turned it around!” And we’ll be stuck with him and mediocre results for 4 more years.
@barryisthedon@Wiscwin1 Well, I mean none of what I said isn’t true (other than the opinion that he was set up to fail). Just saying it’s a lot easier to be a first time head coach when you are the head coach through the offseason and have control of everything for the year.
