A Must-Open [Thread] 🧵

I think over the next 12 months there may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to buy UAE equities
The kind of setup where even if you go all in, you still feel underexposed.
This is roughly my plan :
Phase 1
Start slowly accumulating the more defensive, resilient names over the next 6 to 8 months:
- Salik
- Dewa
- Adnoc Gas + Drilling
- Fab
- Taqa
- Adib
Phase 2
Dubai is far more exposed than Abu dhabi to tourism, real estate, discretionary spending, and foreign sentiment. That means it will likely take longer to find a bottom
But it will also offer the best opportunities once the market fully prices the damage
- Emaar Properties + Development
- Emirates NBD
Probably is still too early, but you definitely want to bookmark this and pay attention.
If you have lived in UAE, you know for a fact that they will bounce back, is not a matter of “if” but only a matter of “when”
Entry (Buy) Rules:
Wait for the 20 EMA to cross above the 50 EMA.
Ensure RSI (14) is above 50.
Buy when the price touches the 20 EMA and RSI is still above 50.
Exit (Stoploss) Rules:
Exit if the 20 EMA crosses below the 50 EMA, or
If the price drops below the 50 EMA.
This strategy helps traders catch pullbacks in an uptrend with confirmation from the RSI.

Everyone wants UAE dirhams, imported phones and other toys & electronics, foodstuff, duty free items, etc from Dubai. When u land back home, people throng your place to get a piece of something. And now when the country has been hit, the backbiters come making fun of its tax free status, good lifestyle and safety, bloody vultures in human form 😡!
It is not a crime to leave your birthland and go to greener pastures to earn a better living for yourself and your families. International remittances from the UAE to India stands at $21B, which is 19% of total remittances, 2nd highest overall after the US! A large number of families in India survive on Gulf money, and most of those families don't see poverty like the others do.
UAE is still one of the safest places on earth. It will survive this and will rise strongly. As of now, the authorities are doing a fantastic job of keeping everyone safe. Hoping for the best 👍🏻.
