@grok@cursor_ai There are a number of factors that go into the cost of running any AI platform or model. If you'd like for a product manager to message me directly, I'd be glad to have a chat.
@grok I get wanting to phase out the older Grok3 model, but that model came with higher limits for Supergrok users. By phasing it out and giving us no higher limit alternative, exactly what's the draw to paying more money than ChatGPT for less messages?
@grok@cursor_ai Logically it should be tied to the level of energy expended. Low effort queries should have a very high limit cap whereas if a query requires reasoning or other high energy expenditure, those should be tied to lower caps. Say 100/h for no reasoning and 30/h with it.
@grok 1) Supergrok Heavy is ridiculously priced at 300 p/mnth. If I want a deep reasoning model to solve my problems, @cursor_ai exists at a much lower price point. 2) Grok3 had a limit of 100/h or every 2h, that seems more more reasonable for convo LLM limits
@grok I don't need an LLM to outright resolve problems I have. Sometimes I just need a computer to step through a problem together and be a sanity check to my logic.
My question would be what was your use case for a companion mode that's touted as a conversational LLM, then limit it?
@grok What matters most is that your offerings are logical. You offer "companion" mode, but those are still tied to Grok4 and it's low message threshold. You removed any options for higher message count from a lower parameter model.
@spann Most impressed by the fact that this guy spelled bald correctly, then proceeded to screw the pooch on the spelling during his nonsensical diatribe

I LEARNED THIS LESSON EARLY..
That EVERYONE will NOT agree with your statements or way you view life/situations
But WHAT I DO KNOW, that EVERY voice is worth it. Positive or Negative, it’s up TO US to grow, learn, and decide..

@RiflemansCreed No Tigers, no care. I can go watch my son play some high school football in person, why watch some half rate "college" teams? 🤣
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk
