Lawyers Association For Constitution demands that the #SupremeCourt's orders referring the CEC Act challenge to the Constitution Bench, as well as giving interim relief to Noida DM Medha Roopam, be recalled in the light of reports that Justice Satish Chandra Sharma's son is a standing counsel for the Election Commission of India.

The Association demands that the matters be heard afresh by a bench in which Justice Sharma is not a member.

The Association also suggests a transparent protocol for disclosure by judges regarding any engagement of their close relatives by parties in the contest.

उक्त शिकायत का थाना बाह पुलिस द्वारा तत्काल संज्ञान लेते हुए प्राप्त तहरीर के आधार पर संबंधित व्यक्ति के विरुद्ध सुसंगत धाराओं में अभियोग पंजीकृत करते हुए अभियुक्त को गिरफ्तार किया गया है तथा अग्रिम वैधानिक कार्यवाही प्रचलित है।

The video from Jamui, Bihar is deeply disturbing.

Two Class 10 students were stopped on a road. Harassed. Humiliated. Molested. A young girl, hands folded, begged to be let go while goons groped her and dragged her away.

Who gave these men the right to behave like this? This is not "culture." It is patriarchy: the belief that any man can police a girl's body, her movement, her choices.

When control is mistaken for culture, and such attitudes are normalised by Andhbhakts, mobs start believing they are the law.

Every individual in that video must be identified and prosecuted under POCSO, and justice must be swift. And if the incident happened on September 19th, why are the culprits not behind bars yet?

And the Bihar government must answer why a girl is not safe on a public road at 7 pm?

बिहार के जमुई का एक वीडियो बहुत बेचैन करने वाला है।

10वीं क्लास के एक छात्र और छात्रा को रास्ते में जबरदस्ती रोक लिया गया। उन्हें प्रताड़ित किया गया, अपमानित किया गया और छात्रा के साथ उत्पीड़न किया गया। बच्ची हाथ जोड़कर उसे जाने देने की विनती करती रही, मगर गुंडे उसे गलत तरीके से छूते और खींचतान करते रहे।

इन लोगों को ऐसी बदतमीज़ी करने का हक किसने दिया? यह "संस्कृति" नहीं है, यह patriarchy है: ये सोच कि किसी भी पुरुष का किसी लड़की के शरीर, उसके आने-जाने और उसकी पसंद-नापसंद पर नियंत्रण है।

जब नियंत्रण को ही संस्कृति मान कर 'अंधभक्त' ऐसी सोच को सामान्य ठहराते हैं, तो भीड़ को लगने लगता है कि वही कानून है।

उस वीडियो में दिख रहे हर व्यक्ति की पहचान होनी चाहिए और उन अपराधियों पर POCSO के तहत मुकदमा चलाकर उन्हें जल्द से जल्द सजा मिलनी चाहिए। और अगर ये घटना 19 सितंबर की है तो गुनहगार अब तक सलाखों के पीछे क्यों नहीं हैं?

और बिहार सरकार जवाब दे कि शाम 7 बजे कोई लड़की राज्य की सड़कों पर सुरक्षित क्यों नहीं है?

ये उत्तर-पश्चिमी दिल्ली के कंझावला के BJP मंडल अध्यक्ष सुनील हैं. आरोप है कि गुरुवार शाम मुंडका से BJP विधायक गजेंद्र दराल ने उन्हें मीटिंग के बहाने वोटर लिस्ट लेकर BJP कार्यालय बुलाया था. आरोप है कि वहां सुनील को बंधक बनाकर रातभर पाइप, डंडे और बेल्टों से बेरहमी से पीटा गया.

मारपीट के दौरान CCTV कैमरे बंद कर दिए गए और कार्यालय को अंदर से लॉक कर दिया गया. आरोप है कि सुनील को गाली गलौच और जातिसूचक शब्दों का इस्तेमाल किया गया.

सुनील के भाई विजय ने मुझे ये तस्वीरें और वीडियो भेजे हैं. उनका दावा है कि सुनील को कपड़े उतारकर पीटा गया जिससे उनके शरीर की खाल तक फट गई. गुरुवार शाम को उन्हें बुलाया गया और अगले दिन शुक्रवार को सवेरे छोड़ा गया.

फिलहाल, वे शिकायत और मेडिकल रिपोर्टर लेकर थाने के चक्कर लगा रहा है, लेकिन अभी तक FIR दर्ज नहीं हुई है.

वे कहते हैं कि विधायक के लोग लगातार उनके घर आकर समझौते का दबाव बना रहे हैं, धमकियां दे रहे हैं. परिवार की मांग है कि SC/ST Act समेत अन्य धाराओं में FIR दर्ज की जाए और विधायक गजेंद्र दराल समेत मारपीट में शामिल लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया जाए.

Known on social media as 'Bittu Tabahi', Surendra started the drive on Jan 26, 2026, navigating health risks like limb infections & encountering snakes while cleaning debris near a local temple. The local municipality has also supported his campaign by providing JCB and Poclain machines to remove accumulated old waste and polythene.

At 20, Bittu Tabahi stepped into a polluted river — without gloves, boots or even knowing how to swim — and started cleaning it himself.

On 26 January 2026, the BSc student from Madhya Pradesh began cleaning the Ajnar River near a temple in Biaora, removing plastic and other waste that had turned parts of the river into a dumping ground.

He even began turning puja waste into compost and pooled money with friends to buy tools and dustbins.

The effort cost him around ₹30,000, and at one point, he suffered infections on his hands.

Then his work reached thousands online. Some accused him of doing it for likes.

Bittu’s surname means “destruction.” Today, he is trying to destroy something else: water pollution.

Because sometimes, change begins when one person stops waiting for someone else to start.

कोटा, राजस्थान की 15 वर्षीय तन्वी की एम्स दिल्ली में मौत हो गई। दिल में छेद था। सर्जरी के लिए 100 से ज्यादा बार एम्स आ चुकी थी। हर बार आगे की तारीख मिल जाती। 24 अगस्त को तन्वी रूटीन जांच के लिए एम्स आई। यहां तबियत बिगड़ गई और उसकी मौत हो गई। एम्स में अगर समय पर सर्जरी हो जाती तो आज बेटी जिंदा होती।
