यह सवाल तो कई लोगों ने उठाया है। FIR करना ज़्यादा नहीं हो गया? जिसे प्रोपेगैंडा और झूठ फैलाना है उसे तो खुली छूट है तो क्या लोग काउंटर भी न करे। कुछ तो सही ग़लत का फ़ैसला होना चाहिए। पाकिस्तान में नेहा के वीडियो को लेकर क्या कहा जा रहा है उसे लेकर FIR हो रही है? उधर वायरल हुआ यह भी तो सरकार क�� नाकामी है। वर्चुअल बॉर्डर बंद करना था ताकि इधर का वीडियो उधर वायरल न हो। पाक के लोग गोदी चैनलों पर आकर अनाप शनाप बोल रहे हैं, भारत से लेकर प्रधान मंत्री तक के बारे में और FiR हो रही है नेहा और मेदुसा के ख़िलाफ़ ? आलोचना किसकी आत्मा है, प्र म ने किसके बारे में कहा था? पुलिस को बहसों में क्या कहा जा रहा है उसे लेकर FIR नहीं करनी चाहिए। उसे तो माहौल की गारंटी देनी चाहिए कि लोग हर तरह की बात कर सकें।

ये मोदी सरकार, सबसे निचले स्तर पर आ गिरी है।
पाकिस्तान पर कोई ठोस कार्रवाई जब इनसे नहीं हो पा रहा तो ये देश के लोगों और पत्रकारों को कुचलने की कोशिश कर रही है।
नेशनल सिक्योरिटी की आड़ में ये सब हो रहा है।

हमारा नेशनल चैनल 4 PM सरकार ने बंद कर��ा दिया.

नेशनल सिक्योरिटी का बहाना बनाकर लोकतंत्र की एक मजबूत आवाज को कुचलने की कोशिश की गई है.

मैं देश से उतना ही नहीं, उससे कहीं ज्यादा प्यार करता हूँ जितना ये सरकार दावा करती है.अगर किसी वीडियो पर सरकार को आपत्ति थी, तो एक मेल भेजकर बताया जा सकता था .मैं खुद जांचता और अगर गलती होती, तो उसे हटा देता.

लेकिन सच ये है कि मोदी देश नहीं हैं.सरकार से सवाल पूछना गुनाह नहीं है.लोकतंत्र में आवाज उठाना ��मारा अधिकार है.

तानाशाही से डरने वाले नहीं हैं हम.
हम 4 PM UP और बाकी सभी 4 PM राज्य चैनलों पर अपनी आवाज बुलंद करते रहेंगे.

आपसे अनुरोध है कि उन चैनलों को तुरंत सब्सक्राइब करें और इस संघर्ष में हमारा साथ दें.

चैनल बंद हो सकता है, पर हमारी आवाज नहीं.

The Press Club of India stands in solidarity with the Guwahati Press Club's protest being held today against the arrest of senior digital media journalist Dilawar Hussain Mozumder by Assam Police post midnight on March 26.

We condemn the Assam Police's highhandedness in the matter.

We also urges the Assam Government and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to look into the matter, and ensure that the state police respect the true spirit of the SC/ST Act while also taking into consideration that there must not be any false charges lodged against a reporter who belongs to a backward, minority community, and was covering a sensitive corruption-related protest as part of his routine job.

URGENT: Journalist Detained for Doing His Job!
Our journalist Dilwar Hussain Majumder has been detained, and his mobile phone seized under mysterious circumstances. When we inquired, authorities failed to provide a case number or a valid reason for his detention.
What happened?
Today, Dilwar went to cover the APEX Bank recruitment scam and a ₹20.3 crore forgery allegation. When he tried to interview Managing Director Dambaru Saikia, the MD can be seen in the video, calling him upstairs to his office. According to Dilwar, inside the office, he was pressured to withdraw the protest —a demand he rightfully refused, stating that he is only a journalist covering the truth.

Immediately after, as he stepped out, he received a call from Panbazar Thana. Upon arrival, he was detained.

Why is a journalist being detained for doing his job?
Is investigative journalism now a crime?
Is this an open attack on press freedom?
This is nothing but a blatant assault on the Fourth Pillar of Democracy. We demand his immediate release and a clear explanation from the authorities!

The biggest takeaway from today's election results:
Is he invincible? No...
What Assam needs to learn from Jharkhand?
He does not carry magic wand to win elections. This is clear from the Jharkhand election. What is more? The thousands of crores of rupees that he looted from the people of Assam has gone into the battlefield of Jharkhand elections. This money could have been used for the development of the people of Assam.
He lost in Jharkhand but won in Assam.
This was ensured in Assam!! Discord, pride and strife within the party were primarily behind this.
Jharkhand has taught the importance of opposition unity for victory- which must be led by the united regional parties, not by the so-called Big Brother. This was the biggest lesson from the Jharkhand elections. Assam can also follow the example of Jharkhand to protect its regional economic, environmental, social and political interests and promote progressive democratic politics. Let Congress learn, we also should learn.
The Jharkhand election was led by its regional forces supported and cooperated by the Congress. In Jharkhand, the Congress did not show any arrogance in the alliance formation, it fought together.
The Congress took the lead in Maharashtra. There we lost; The people lost, the fascist forces won.
Where the opposition is united, it has won. Wherever the Congress contested alone or the Congress has been arrogant (it has taken more seats itself), the communal BJP has won.
Assam by-elections showed that only with combined opposition forces it will be possible to defeat the BJP’s money and muscle power, misuse of government machinery and organizational strength.
There is only one year in between for the next big. The regional forces of Assam must start working from today onwards. We have already done it. All the people and well-wishers of democratic politics should join this process. This is the call of time.
Congress should sincerely learn from this fallout. Time and again it has been proven that when opposition unity is led by regional forces than only fascist forces could be overthrown. In Assam also opposition unity should be led by the regional forces, not the Congress.
This is the lesson that to be learned from the by-elections. Isn’t it right?
