Maybe people aren't having fewer children because they suddenly stopped wanting families.
Maybe we built an economy where having a family feels like a luxury purchase.
@marujaconaguja So...you're not going to sell $1m worth of something you don't want because you can't figure out how to add a large OP_RETURN to a transaction?
I've been pretty busy with the Liquid hack but want to take the time to say two things:
1) BIP-110 Bcashjr Blakecoin is such a dumpster fire.
2) Zcash is such an obvious pump and dump and AI needs it like it needs a rubber tire.
Have a good evening.
@nitesh_btc Hasn't island boy Andy directed Blockstream to freeze all transactions? How will a bank run happen, if the bank itself is closed for business and locked down?
Is it possible that the CEO of the company that was just hacked for 600 Bitcoin (Circa $50M) has nothing to say?
No updates?
No personal statements?
No tweets since the 2nd of September?
Seems weird at best, unprofessional for sure.
Hope everything is OK.
@Monkeeuphoria@CoinMarketCap Anything can happen when you pay yourself. And if it was island boy @adam3us doing an inside job to provide life syppprt to his mining ponzi scam, then well yes, circa 500 is the exact amount needed.
@BitcoinLiked@21milinfinity More importantly, Bitcoin proved to be resilient. The hard-fork mechanism is an effective counter-measure against the coordinated attack of centralized SHA-256d hashpower oligarchs. It is the strength unique to Bitcoin.
Thanks Bitcoin Core. We used to have a monetary network. Now we have the world's most expensive, immutable Discord for whitehats and the companies they just drained.
Maybe Core's next upgrade: on-chain group therapy and dating profiles, if not worse.
It's *not* an inside job.
Andy wasn't running a Ponzi Scheme and Blockstream absolutely did *not* pull off a fake hack, stealing their own money and giving it back to themselves minus the money they needed (~$50m or so) to keep the game of musical chairs going.
It's totally a thing for a "white hat" to take a $50m cut for themselves.
Update: 3,400 BTC of the roughly 4,000 BTC withdrawn on September 6 has been returned to the @Liquid_BTC Federation wallet. The return followed confirmation from @Blockstream that the affected bridge nodes have been patched. Approximately 598 BTC remains outstanding, and Blockstream continues to engage with the white-hat hackers.
The network remains paused while Blockstream and Federation members make additional fixes and security improvements, resolve the chain split, and prepare for a safe restart. Liquid wallets and services will continue to be affected during this time. No user action is needed, and please do not send Bitcoin to Liquid peg-in addresses until we confirm the network has restarted.
Our top priority remains resuming normal network operations safely. We appreciate your patience and will post updates here as the situation develops.

Adam's last timeline post is from September 2nd. It is about the Blake fork.
BIP-110 and the fork has been his favorite posting topic for a good while.
On September 2nd he found time to shill Tokenized Stock Notes on Liquid (Liquid was hacked yesterday for 4000 BTC) in a reply to Laura Shin.
He had plenty of time to once again make several reply posts about the Blake fork on September 3 and 4.
He still hasn't found time to mention the 4000 BTC hack of Liquid though.
Weird, considering he is the CEO of Blockstream, the company behind Elements, that minted Liquid coins that shouldn’t exist.
