Haven't been on here much recently, but for those who don't know: I wrapped up my work with @EnvironmentMA a few weeks ago and I'm about to start a PhD program in public affairs at Indiana University. Sad to be leaving Massachusetts behind but I'm excited for a new adventure!
We were alongside partners this morning to launch H.3689 in Massachusetts! It’s time for Massachusetts to commit to a just and equitable transition to 100% clean energy. See what happened in our thread!
Massachusetts could install 10 gigawatts of solar — the equivalent of one million solar roofs — by 2030.
Together with local officials, environmental advocates, and business leaders, we're asking @MassGovernor to go big on solar.

Last week's clean energy lobby day was a big success. Students from @StudentPIRGs met with 18 legislators and their offices to discuss #cleanenergy legislation. Thanks @seangarballeyMA and @MarjorieDecker for leading the way with the 100% Clean Act!
It's "no accident" that Massachusetts is leading on solar power, said @BHellerstein. "It’s because of policies that were put in place on the state level more than a decade ago to support solar energy."

Spoke with the Boston Globe's @dharnanoor for this story, which reminds us that many "red states" have enormous opportunities (which, in some cases, they have taken advantage of) when it comes to renewable energy:

Pleased to be quoted in this @dharnanoor story alongside @JoshuaBasseches.
Renewable energy is booming in red states, but Massachusetts can catch up! First step: @MassGovernor should commit to 1 million solar roofs by 2030.

Let’s go 100%! 14 students from @masspirgstudent met with 18 legislators and their offices to discuss #cleanenergy, last Friday. Inspired by their tenacity & passion for a cleaner future for MA.
Great series @MoranWriter, @gabrieman RE: #toxicPFAS. We must stop the problem from getting even worse by banning its use in so many products- food packaging, clothing, makeup, cookware &more. @repkatehogan@JulianCyr filed bill to do that-https://t.co/rZ9mtrU924 #MustActQuickly.
