If you can't provide armored vehicles to all the forces in the valley, at least undertake an exercise to replace the existing glass of vehicles with bulletproof glass. Terrorists target the driver first. If the driver is safe, he can somehow move the vehicle away from the ambush site.

This will significantly reduce the advantage of terrorists and give our boys an opportunity to gear up and retaliate, instead of being defenceless targets. The whole exercise won't cost much either, likely even less than 1% of your social justice schemes budget.

The Minority Affairs ministry should be abolished until the term 'minority' has been defined numerically or as a percentage of the total population.

As of now, the criterion is not numbers, but religion. Everyone except Hindus are/can be minorities.

For this reason, despite being numerical minorities in six states and three UTs, Hindus do not receive the benefits of minority affairs schemes in those states.

For example, in Lakshadweep, where 97% of the population is Muslim, they are considered minorities and get the benefits of minority affairs schemes, but the 2% Hindu population does not. The same situation exists in Kashmir.
